Art Courses

Manana Re-opens

Everyone's favourite Mexican re-opens tonight (Friday 19th February) after the winter break. Look forward to a fantastic new wine list and some delicious new dishes on the menu. Pwllheli Partnership

A new community partnership has been set up to boost tourism and bring cash into Pwllheli. The Pwllheli Partnership, made up of local dignitaries and representatives from different groups in the town, has already applied for a £5,000 grant from Gwynedd Council to get the ball rolling. The Best Winter Weather!

We haven't escaped the clutches of Mr. Frost just yet in the village Temperatures have dropped this week. In spite of snowy showers being predicted in some areas Abersoch look set to escape them. At the moment there isn't a cloud in the sky so we are experiencing the best of winter weather. It is pretty cold but at least the sun is out! So get wrapped up warm and hit the beach for a walk!

Pwllheli Triathlon

Look out for a great new event that is set to hit Pwllheli in March. Plans are underway for the first ever Pwllheli Triathlon. The event will feature a 400 meter swim, 3 mile run and 12 mile bike ride. We will keep you posted about the event, but at the moment the date is set for March 7th. Hafan y Mor Investment

Hafan y Mor, formerley Butlins, the holiday park the other side of Pwllheli is to receive a £10 million cash injection over the next 10 years. It will see a new nine hole golf course and refurbished spa one the site. The investment will provide permanent and seasonal jobs in the area, creating a "5 star environmentally concious destination.
