Halloween Weekend

If you weren't in the village this weekend then you
missed out as there was so much on offer. Halloween fever took over the
village. The spooky celebrations kicked off on Friday afternoon with a
great kids party at the village hall to raise money for Ysgol Abersoch.
Halloween Queen Jess Booth put on a great party for kids with games and
cakes on offer. This got everyone in the mood for a full weekend of
fun. The fun continued on Saturday afternoon when Manana opened it's
doors for two hours of Halloween carnage. The restaurant was jam pakced
full of kids and adults who arrived to raise money for Clic Sargent
kids cancer charity. Over £750 was raised in two hours, which is
amazing. There were kids games and goodies on sale along with a great
raffle. The evening's fun continued with numerous parties around the
village. The Sandpiper hosted The Kickbacks who played a great set to a
large crowd and The Vaynol welcomed back The Bogtrotters who raised the
roof! Look out for more fun shenannigans this weekend, with Bonfire
Night
