120 Mile Charity Cycle
by Sensation Staff 02 / 09 / 2010

If you have seen our latest issue you may have seen the story regarding Fiona Ford’s 120 miles charity cycle ride to Abersoch. The ride took place on August 19th – 20th 2010 and Fiona updated us following the ride. “The ride went really well In spite of the atrocious weather conditions on Friday which made it twice as difficult!! However we all managed to finish - a couple of girls came off their bikes in the wet conditions and had a few cuts and bruises. We ended up at the Riverside where a crowd of people were waiting to clap us in and then a big party took place at The Egryn that night with all our friends and supporters. The sponsor money is still coming in but we are hoping to exceed £10,000 which will be fantastic and the money raised will go towards setting up a wig salon at the local cancer hospital.” Well done to Fiona and the rest of the girls and if you wish to donate to the appeal please go to www.justgiving.com/fiona-fordcyclechallenge
