Motorbike Protest

Motorcycle News (MCN) are launching a "Reclaim North Wales" ride
this weekend. MCN claim that the North Wales Police are continually
using anti-motorcycle tactics that have left many riders feeling
victimised. In one weekend around 400 bikes were stopped by the police
and 350 were allowed to ride on with no charges brought against them.
To
defy the police treatment of motorcyclists, most of whom are law
abiding and stay within the speed limit a mass ride out has been
organised for the weekend through North Wales. Hundreds of bikes are
expected to attend, their facebook group has already attracted nearly
three thousand followers with bikes coming from all over England, Wales
and Scotland to join the protest.
The sheer number of bikes at
the meeting should be an incredible sight, and the mass ride well worth
seeing as it is a spectacle not often seen in the Uk.
